Why does a car like the allroad brings out the lead foot in me?
I just don't get it. I'm back in the seat again, feeling the incredible power (stock) that this car has and all I want to do is pass everyone on the road, take every turn faster than normal.
Yes I took defensive driving to get my 10% off my insurance just two weeks ago.. BFD.. All I want to do is ..Let LULU run free..
Am I alone in this?

You are the ONLY one who feels this way.
ROUNDHEAD!!! It's a twin turbo, V6, AWD, chick magnet! It's actually AGAINST THE LAW not to wring it's neck a little bit from time to time (like, every stop light, on-ramp and 2 lane road with squiggly warning signs). How can you NOT use the loud pedal???
My wife loves it because it does all the things you wrote up above and more. She loves that it's a sports sedan in a station wagon's body.
So, no Paulroad, you're not alone. I'm just suprised she hasn't been arrested yet!

Paulroad...off current topic rookie question, but...
I noticed from your sig that you are running the Forge 007 Stealth Black Diverters...is there a lot to be gained from using the diverters on an unchipped engine?
I've read that they can help reduce lag as well as improve boost. Is that true for stock engines as well? I have no plans to Dipp or Chip right now, but I'm looking for a little improvement.
Thanks.

The jury is out on this.. as I am no longer..
in a chipped mode. So, I can't say if there is a difference in the valves stock or non stock.
But ther definatly is a dif in chipped mode. much smoother delivery of the added boost.
Right now I'm running with the Audi TT diverters, 710N valves. These are a bit smoother than stock but they are still plastic and a rubber internals.
The Forge valve is billet alluminum and adjustable (multiple) springs to suit your needs. I'm going to put these back in.. when I do I'll le you know if there is a difference.
Right now I would hold off untill you feel a sputtering of boost.. you will know it when you feel it. Then you can think about the ubgrade.

Every time I drive this car, aside from the daily commute, I grin...
Doesn't hurt that the experience is enhanced by 18" RS6 Reps, F1 GS-D3, H-Sport, etc. Can't wait for the RS6 exhaust to go on.
