Re: Window tint in NYC?
I'd like to jump in aswell and ask about good places in nyc. I have a silver 05 AR and i think it would look great with a tint. going to do the back seat windows and back. How much should i pay, where should i go, and how much of a tint (i know there is a certian lvl where you can do it legally and i have seen that in back posts).

Re: Window tint
I paid around $200.00 three years ago at Ziebart in Indianapolis, and am still very pleased. 35 on the front windows, 20 on the back five windows. I believe the numbers indicate the percent of light the tint allows to pass through.

There seems to be a general consensus to use Ray Reductions in Longmont
that said I went with Visual Effects out of Boulder. Awesome job very happy with it.
price was about $250 for the tint and about $270 for clearbra done at the same time. clear bra covered the front of the hood, a-pillars, and mirrors

I had Huper Optic ceramic installed and I love it
I payed an arm and a leg for it here in Canada but from what I read it can be had for a reasonable premium in the US. I have the ceramic 30 which was the darkest available at the time from Huper. I really like it's optical quailities. See my pic poster for example.
I think pinnacle makes a ceramic film as well but don't know how it compares with Huper.

http://www.huperoptik.com/CeramicCompare.asp</a

IDS on South Broadway in Littleton, ask for Matt. Huper, and others..
Very fair price, about $380 for Huper ceramic, which rules. 50% gives you the same heat rejection as about a 25% regular. Can still see perfectly. Oh, and do the sunroof, really cools down the car.
