just goes to show that if you sell a product people want and can afford, they will find a way. Audi is just smart to limit units...
Look at the S5. They don't flood the market like BMW does with the M3, now discounting the heck out of it. Really the only "mass" produced audis are the A4 and the now the Q7. Audi puts a premium on profit much to our dismay. I find that smart. While I would love to pay less I like the uniqueness of my ride and feel audi has carved a different niche. Of course I am biased.
The US automakers build commodity cars and thus in a bad market get hammered as they did. Those incentives only last so long....
