I just received notice from my dealer today that they received an email to alert them that the port hold was removed yesterday and that the dealerships and customers “could start seeing e-trons arrive at your stores early next week”. I am sure it all depends on how close you are to the port and if they rail or truck your car.

Looking forward to seeing the Edition One live and in person here soon!

Here is a portion of the email my dealer received and forwarded to me this afternoon:

Please inform your teams.

I was just made aware that e-tron release is approved:

- Port Holds removed on 4/23

So, what that means is we could start seeing e-trons (customer orders) arrive at your stores early next week.

Please make sure staff is aware of important delivery steps (see below), we need to make sure MyAudi App is all set up for these customers!

That's great news. My dealer hasn't been very assertive with communicating any progress. I wonder if this will change anything.

Good work Traveler29. I just confirmed with my dealer. The port hold was removed and the e-trons will start moving to the Audi dealers!

Called by my Houston dealer yesterday (4/24) that their demo car had arrived and was being charged as we spoke. Arranged for a test drive at 3pm, today (4/25). Looks like Houston dealers are benefiting from the proximity to the port.

My local dealer sold their first e-tron today. I am in Austin so pretty close to the port of Houston. They said it was first one sold in Texas

While it still says "en route" online we heard from the dealer today "The Etron is on a truck heading this way as of today. Hopefully in the next few days we will see it."
