14-50 Extension cable review
Here's my impression of the Conntek 30ft 14-50 extension cable,
I purchased this cable for random usage when I need the extra length to charge. The cable has a NEMA 14-50 plug on one end and receptacle on the other. Both ends have blue LEDs to let you know it has power to that end. The cable is rather thick (27mm) and can be stiff to coil and uncoil. Combine this with the weight (23.0 lbs) and it can be cumbersome to use. If you plan to take this cable in the vehicle, it's large and will take up most, if not all, the frunk storage space and might be better fit in the rear under cargo area. However, what it lacks in ease of use, it makes up for in power transfer and specs. This cable uses 6AWG copper wire for the current carrying conductors and 8AWG for ground. At 37A charging load, I measured a 1.4V drop from 239.4V to 238V. This represents an approximate 0.6% power transfer loss. When charged at 70degF ambient temperature, the cable and connectors are cool to the touch.
Overall, this is a recommend from me. I went with this one due to a few features that mattered to me but here is another cable that is popular among the Tesla owners, Camco 30ft 14-50 extension cable,
Note: Audi doesn't recommend the use of extension cables.

But unfortunately Audi also doesn't offer a cordless charging option. The E-tron comes with a 12-foot cable. The distance between the expected position of my in-transit car's charging port down to the garage floor, forward to the front, across to the wall, and up to the outlet is 22 feet. Despite Audi's non-support, I went ahead and got the 15-foot extension cable.
