2019 e-tron Reservation List

Anyone have any accurate insight on how the reservations are going? when I put in my deposit today my dealer told me Audi will only be producing 12000 e-trons in this first run. Sounds like if you're not in the first group it might be an extra year's wait.
Apparently dealer employees & their families are prohibited from ordering & even the dealers themselves can't order (or are severely limited) for stock. My guy said if I decided to back out, even on delivery day he would gladly give my deposit back & keep the car for their stock

You went for Edition One? Very nice. I would think you'd be able to add Cold Weather and Towing... What's an SUV without a little cold and hitch mount bike racks?
Do you have any images of the interior? I am very curious on the non-walnut version of Ash that comes with the Edition One.
But... I'll still be waiting for BlackOptic.

Hey guys. Just reserved mine this morning and decided to join the forum.
I have a Range Rover Sport and my lease expires at the end of April (hopefully the timing should work out). I never seriously considered EVs, but e-tron caught my attention. Big enough, adequate range, better performance than my RRS, great interior, and I like the traditional styling more than Model X. I though that this car will be 100+ grand, but when I realized that it can be had for under 80, decided to go for it. I agonized over adding a Driver Assistance Package, but decided to go for it at the end.
It's probably a bit early to know, but I am also interested in the GVWR. It would be great if I could combine the tax rebate with a section 179 depreciation for my business. I am not counting on it, but I think 6001+ lbs is not out of the question considering that the new Subaru Ascent is exactly 6001.

You’d only get an option of Premium Plus or Prestige when putting reservation down (since Edition One is all snapped up.). But, you can go into your reservation on myAudi and reconfigure as many times as you want.

Have you been able to actually see your reservation on My Audi? Mine doesn't show but there is a statement on the top of the page that if you're having trouble they would have a fix this week (9/24).

^^yes, it is under 'reservations'. I've only reconfigured it half a dozen times so far.
I am still waiting for an option to get rid of walnut trim. Wonder if another option (black somethin') would be available as a spare part.

I pretty much know what I want, but a few of the options need a little more explanation. I’m trying to figure out if I need the $900 “cold weather” package. In other Audi’s that usually means heated rear seats & steering wheel. The e-tron just says it’s battery & interior preconditioning & wiper nozzles. Have no idea what that means. All I need is heated seats & steering wheel (which I don’t see listed anywhere but some of the interior shots show a button for it in the center MMI, rather than on the wheel).

Interesting article. It states that Audi dealers will not carry any inventory, all orders will be via the ordering process.

This is the email I got...
Step 1: eReservation confirmed
Your vehicle has now been reserved.
Step 2: Contact from Dealer
You will be contacted by your preferred dealer within 5-10 business days of placing your eReservations.
Step 3: Discuss Build & Price
With your Audi brand specialist you will determine the configuration and final price of your vehicle. This will include but not limited to colour, trim level, options and packages.
Step 4: Financing Options
Upon deciding on the build of your vehicle, your dealer will discuss finance options and after-care plans as well as your estimated delivery day.
