Tomorrow is the lock date on the edition one we reserved, but we obviously reserved early.

Mine locks tomorrow as well. I suspect all Edition Ones lock tomorrow though because it would make sense to do all 999 of them as a batch at the start of production so they can use them to make sure the production line at a new factory is up and running properly.

Not true. I reserved on November 18th and am still sitting in 1) Reservation Confirmed status.

My edition 1 also locked. Indy i grew up there! Live outside NYC now. I dont need to drive anywhere so the range on the E-tron should be good.

Also i just picked up a RS5 SB and now I’m sad because i am going to want the Audi GT E tron. . I guess there could be worse problems to have.

I called the e-tron hotline the other day. My basic questions:
a) any idea when Black Optics and No Walnut would be offered stateside?
b) could I move my deposit over, and get on the e-tron GT list.

The rep was pleasant and helpful... but... the answers were:
a) no idea when the next configurations would be available... He acknowledged that many requests have come in for different configurations.
b) no idea when GT would be collecting orders.

Also, he noted that I am under no obligation to purchase the e-tron, even after it is configured, locked, built, shipped and arrives in the showroom. In the showroom, i could still get the deposit back.
