Default Artificial Sound Recorded

Here is a link to a video which does a good job of recording the external noise generator on the e-tron.

Below is my attempt to embed the video in this thread (which may or may not work)

Interesting. At least it not beeping or something obnoxious. I still think it’s silly that artificial noise pollution is required.

Hmm! Can you hear it inside the cabin with windows closed?

I fear for the safety of my fuse based on those sounds.Where I live it is super quiet and any sort of 'industrial' noise will be super annoying compared to my present EV's.

Hmmm. Sounds a bit like the obnoxious Ice Cream truck that drives through our neighborhood, in catnip-like fashion, hoping to lure kids to buy ice cream cones. lol

Picked up my E1 yesterday and honestly didn't hear it; windows closed and AC fan running, not even noticeable inside. Drove around with the AC off and windows down today; very subtle. The fact that it goes away around 18 mph makes it transient anyway.

IMO, much ado about nothing.

I wonder how long it will take for artificial car noise to become the new "ring tone." I predict it will not be too long before we will have optional sounds to choose from, just like we have designer lighting options now.

Agree. The noise is barely noticeable. Nothing to go fuse pulling over...

I heard it on my second test drive (didn't hear it the firs time). It's quite mild and I did not find it annoying at all.
