I’ve had two people just in the first two weeks comment that they were glad it made a sound because they could hear me coming. Both also said it sounded cool, so take that for what it’s worth.

I have driven Teslas and Priuses as rentals that pedestrians literally could not hear. The sound is quite helpful, and it’s fun that it sounds like a spaceship.

I can hear the artificial noise from inside the car when driving at or below around 30 MPH and I like it — a lot. It’s a very science-fiction / futuristic sound. I previously owned an S75D and currently also own an X100D, for reference.

If I were King for a Day, I'd add the ability to record my own sound--My choice: "Ride of the Valkyries" for those ******** that walk down the middle of the driving lane in store parking lots.

OK I got to sit in one and test the noise. My fuse is done for.
Just my personal thoughts. I want a quiet car not one that makes weird noises that come and go as I drive around the neighborhood.

First thing a good plaintiff attorney will check in a slow speed auto/pedestrian accident will be the operation of the warning sound - unfortunate fact of life today.
