I would also be curious how the mileage behaves in ~90f-100f temperatures. The battery seems to be designed to prefer much warmer weather.

In both my I3 every degree above 75 drops range even without AC till about 90f-95f the range is similar to 0f. The systems is struggling to cool the cells. I'd be curious to see what the Etron range/temperature curve is.

I'm hoping the growing number of e tron owners can update their range experiences over the weekend. Hope your enjoying your rides!

Or $22.00 per electric fill up for 400 miles versus $68.00 for my 20 gallon/400 mile fill up in my Q5. Works for me! I know you Tesla folks will say the Model X is a good comp for the e-tron and you could make that case. And the X will be more energy efficient. Then it becomes a fit and finish discussion over efficiency. To each their own.
Here in CT we pay about $0.18/kwh. At 2.2m/kwh that is $0.082/mile. I average 30.5 mpg yr round with my 2018 A4 at ~$3.10/gal so $0.10/mile so not much savings. If I was cheap and ran regular in my A4 the cost per mile would be about equal. CT is a real rip-off when it comes to electricity. Our rates are high, there may be a $0.05 savings for off peak but trying to get a straight answer on this is difficult. The only people who can benefit are those with solar panels that generate more electricity than they use because the power company only reimburses $0.078/kwh.

My daily commute which is a mix of freeway, stop and go traffic, and surface streets gets me 2.8-3.0 mi/kWh

I'm not surprised that comparison came out that way. The A4 is not a heavy SUV. The Q7 or Q8 would run closer to 20 cents per mile and be a closer comparison to the Etron.

Still I get your point we are talking $1000 / yr on a $80,000+ SUV.

I have been averaging about 2.4 to 2.5 mi/kWh on my commute (Hwy, Stop & Go, City mix). I have found using the "Efficiency" Drive Select makes about 0.2 mi/kWh improvement over "Auto".

At about 300+ miles of driving my eTron Edition One is averaging 1.9 mi/kw. It did show 202 miles of range when I picked it up at the dealer since then it has never shown more than 172 miles of range after a full 100% charge.

So far I seem to be averaging 37 kWh per 100 miles (2.7 miles per kWh) on my commute of proximately110 miles round-trip which is 20% suburban traffic and 80% interstate. Mostly flat roadways (Central NJ) and Driver select set to auto with manual regeneration. Very pleasantly surprised.

Ouch! I hope you spend most of your time doing 85, or that's not too great at all.
