I expect that within 12 months of introduction, you will have a lot more choices for colors and options. I have never driven a new RS5, but I was just watching a review. As you might expect, they loved it. It is such a beautiful and capable automobile. I have an '18 SQ5 in Daytona Gray. The color is gorgeous. I have the Edition One reserved.

i heartily second this configuration. Actually hoping that my reservation won’t lock until 2020 MY, just to see what options become available. Otherwise, I may have to cancel and get to the end of the line with BlackOptic. Just not a fan of paying all this money to not get the configuration I really want.

Trust me, I'd like an e-tron as bad as the next person. But $80k-$90k is a lot of money not to have a vehicle that speaks to your own individual aesthetic. Hopefully AudiUSA is getting the message and the second model year will open up options.
