Default CARB estimates in

https://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/...s-by-carb.html

An executive order published by the California Air Resources Board indicates the Audi E-Tron 55 Quattro will travel 277.55 miles (446 km) on a single charge.

How does this relate to EPA #s?

I-PACE is shown here: https://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad...0062_0_z_e.pdf and gets 351 miles... for the same pack size? Something seems funny with the eTron numbers and I cant find the source on CARB site.

It is a bit disconcerting that the Tesla Model 3 Long Range which has a range in the 310 miles neighborhood got a 455 mile range on this test.

I would ignore the CARB ratings. There are no I Pace owners getting anywhere near 351 miles per full charge. Not sure how they come up with the numbers. Bjorn suggests around 205 miles for the e Tron in winter driving. Wait for the EPA numbers.

its the relative value that worries me, not the number itself. 20% worse than I-pace! So maybe real world will also be similar compared.

I agree, but we won't know until the testing is done and the result published. If the testing (prior to publication) comes in less than 200 miles, I can see Audi spending time tweaking the range prior to when they get into customer hands.

lets hope. According to this article “The EPA Label range is approximately 70% of the UDDS range” which would put e-tron at 193 miles.

Don't stress. Bjorn was able to get a 205 mile range in Norway, at -5oC, on wet roads. You should be able to get 220-230 miles in better conditions.

Bjorn got 205 miles (100%->0% SoC) at a speed of 56mph. I think it would be almost dangerous to drive that slow on the highway where I live.
