Default Charging plugs J-1772 vs. Audi

Most of the charging stations in public places in New England (Whole Foods, hotels etc.) seem to have a "standard type J-1772 plug. This is different from what is shown on the e-tron. Is there a conversion plug that comes with the e-tron to charge at such stations? Am I missing something?

Probably what you have seen is the EU model, which comes with Type 2 plug: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_2_connector, Type 1 is the US standard.

I do not know what will be on US model, maybe Type 2 due to the CCS implementation, but you can get cable between Type 1 and Type 2 plugs. I assume Audi will supply as standard equipment with the car in the US.
