Configured my e-tron today, looking for feedback before placing final order
Hi guys, so I’m in Europe and paid the deposit in 02/2018. Today I was finally invited to configure my e-tron quattro. But I still have some doubts on some options so here’s my current configuration. advanced 55 quatro (means all body parts have same color) s-line with black leather / alcantara frequenz seat (unsure if I should go Alcantara or full leather) Mythos Black with Shadow look and orange break calipers. (maybe I should go Daytona Grey) no roofrails, also unsure about this. Difficult to compare as I did not see both in real life. 21” turbine wheels. As for tech, I have pretty much all the options. For assisted driving, I took the city pack and the tour pack, which when combined offers everything Audi currently has from adaptive cruise control to collision warning & breaking etc... Anyone have any experience with these systems, are they worth it or do you just turn it off after a while? Anyone else made a configuration? |

I'm guessing the european configurator will come online on wednesday 30/01 as that is the date the "priority" period for people with a pre reservation will finish.
As of then, everyone can order one. |
You can now configure the e-tron on the German Audi website - similar to what was available at the Austrian website. https://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/neuw...di-e-tron.html
( I got an e-mail from them yesterday.) I belive deliveries are scheduled for March. |
Nice, it does seem kind of buggy (I cannot seem to add any options I get an error message "not found").
Next friday I have a test drive with the E-tron and will then decide wether or not I order it. Still struggling with lots of options wether to take them or not .... For instance the virtual side mirrors, in the Autogefeuhl youtube review they are very negative about it. Also the city assist pack, not sure if it's worth it. Currently have the S-line, but I kind of dislike the S line logo in the seats. I did not take the roofrails, I think it has a huge impact on the look, but cannot decide which is better looking. and so on ..... Choices, choices choices :-) |
