Well I guess I can uncross my fingers. It's been over 7 days and no movement. I called the hotline and I do have a VIN, but not estimate as to well it moves to "En Route"

Ugh. It's a good sign that you have a VIN, that should mean that the car is actually being built or is recently completed. Call your dealer and ask if there has been a vessel assigned, that will give you an idea of how close it is to leaving the port. My car landed in my local port Monday, and the dealer hasn't been notified yet that it has arrived.

I received a VIN from customer service and they said once it was assigned a ship, status will move to En Route - was told my car was 10 to 14 weeks away. A week later I get a call from dealer saying car was in Houston and would be at dealership the following week - next day another call from dealer that car was at the dealership. Status change to En Route occurred the next day (after car was at dealership) and then the $1,000 charge was refunded to my CC. Logistics doesn't seem to be a strong suit for Audi. I relate this story just so you should know to expect the unexpected. Patience.

This seems like a common occurrence. I'm surprised they haven't done a better job with this.

Mine just changed to "Making its way to your dealership". The ship docked in Houston yesterday and the car will be trucked to Seattle from there.

Mine Docked at Houston 14 days ago and still has not made its way to my delearship. It is a 800 mile ride. Right now they are averaging 50 miles per day!

I wonder whether some of these port-to-dealer delays are due to port-installed options that may be out of stock, or maybe it just takes a while for each car to wait in line for their option(s) to be installed before they get loaded onto the truck.
