Default E-Tron Range

For the others that have received your E-Tron what are you seeing for range? Reality, and GOM? I have had mine for 2 weeks, and seeing about 10% better than the EPA rated 204 miles. I have been on 3 longest trips, 2 over the mountains, and one just down I-5 here is WA state, GOM is now reading 228 at full charge (has risen each charge).

I have the the prestige with 265/45/21 Continental tires. Anyone with smaller tires?

Also have the 21" wheels, and have noticed that that expected range after charging really depends on how efficiently you had been driving. Driving around town while using the paddles I've seen seen efficiency as high as 33.5 kWh/100 miles. Charging to 100 % after these results yields about 250 miles of expected range. This drops immediately by 10 mies as soon as the A/C is turned on. I took delivery April 30th, and my range anxiety has vanished. Several long trips using destination chargers and twice an EA fast charge. All it takes is a little planning (using the PlugShare app) On the average I've noticed that the miles added on a full charge can be as much as 30 miles less than miles actually driven. This is of course in very warm weather, we'll see how the winter goes.

I made a trip from Daly City to Windsor in the Bay Area yesterday (70 miles each way). I charged to 100% and when leaving the reading was 193 miles. Upon returning, I had 92 miles of range left and averaged 37Kwh/100. I forgot to set back to 90% charge overnight so when I got in the car this morning it was reporting I had 219 miles of range. Average speed was 65mph, AC was on, car set to efficiency mode and was using Adaptive Cruise Assist for a 90% of the way with regenerative braking set to "automatic". I haven't been able to get below the 37Kwh on any longer trips yet.

If you haven't seen it yet, I ran some highway consumption tests back in May under semi-controlled conditions.

I plan to run the same route in winter for comparison.

I've been getting 220 miles +/- 5 miles on average, in a mix of Comfort and Efficiency modes. 21" wheels, A/C on, in a mix of highway and city driving. Very little elevation change.

Check out range/charging chart from “Mary Ann’s Electric Drive” across Canada. If my math’s right, Harvey is averaging 220+ miles on his trip.

2K miles in 3 mos of ownership. Typically charge to 80% level and displayed range is 170 miles. Long term consumption data shows 2.3 miles/kwh (3.7 km/kwh). Doing the math: 100% capacity of battery: 92.4 kwh, Full-range: 212 miles.

Wow, Harvey just did 814 miles in 16 hours (St. Louis, MO to Denver, CO) including charging stops in his e-tron.

I now have ~1,000 miles on my e-tron. Those 1,000 miles break down into ~47% inner city driving, 37% high altitude mountain driving, and 16% flat road interstate driving. After charging to 80%, I'm now pretty consistently seeing range estimates around 215 miles. A/C usage ~half of the time, driving mode Dynamic in city driving and Auto the rest of the time, 19" wheels.
