Hi is somewhat technical and made interesting observations. His main points/questions are about the presence or absence of innovation. Perhaps the most significant conclusion is that by selecting asynchronous motors Audi went for a setup/motor that is not as efficient as motors in other brands (Tesla, BMW), however, perhaps the best option for an optimum AWD/Quattro system and for maximum recuperation.
He also made another interesting observation - that Audi now has an integrated central processor for the drive system vs. before (on their other cars) of separate systems for stability control, ESC, ABS, torque vectoring, Quattro drive etc.
