Nice enough but it comes across as a car of all trades, master of none.

Completely agree, and does not look especially aerodynamic.

This is aimed straight at the Model 3 and that's a very good segment to be in. Probably not as good aero as the Tesla, but I'm willing to accept a little less aero for a lot less Dr. Seuss.

Here's another thing I like: vegan interiors. The I-PACE offers a non animal skin option in the US and so should the e-tron. The interior of the Polestar 2 is a fantastic balance of minimalism and tech and quality. The Scandinavians have always done that well.

And it's a proper hatchback! Get the banana boxes ready.

This is what my wife will be driving next year. I'm working on the convincing PowerPoint presentation right now.

Nice, good luck convincing your wife. Polestar 2 should be a great car. I still have to see one in person to get a yea or nah on the esthetics, but I like it better than Model 3 just based on height, I am not into low sound sedans. Around the same timeframe there should be some other BEV options, and it will be fun to see how they shape up.
