Found this:

Audi Upgrades Communications Tech To Help Drivers Hit Green Lights

A subscription to Audi Connect Prime services is required to use the V2I features. Selected 2017 and 2018 Audi models support V2I along with all 2019 models except for the A3, TT and R8.

That connect prime is spendy. Connect Plus (required), plus Prime is $48/mo.

I am trying to evaluate the ‘worth’. I live in the boonies, and only have four sets of traffic lights in my home town. So, at this time I can’t see the value. I’ll just have to remember to lock my car, and remember where I parked it. :-)

Whoa, $48/mo?? I guess it works though on the e-tron, right? I haven’t see. Anything that definitely says either way.

Here's a review of the GLOSA system.

https://mashable.com/review/audi-con...peed-advisory/

The green light system doesn't seem all that useful but I think I'd enjoy the red light countdown. It doesn't matter though because it's going to be a long time until this is available across the country.

I thought it would be awesome if it's available on the car, since perhaps it might come along at some point! I like that in many places in Europe you get a yellow-red before the green!

Reply from my dealer on this topic: "All Audis with Gen 2 and up Audi Connect (2017 A4 series & Q7, 2018 A5 & Q5 series and all 2019+ models) along with an active subscription can utilize this if in an area that has the technology. Currently in 12 markets, but expanding."
