My JuiceBox EVSE uses NEMA 14-50, but only looks for the two hots and a ground. No neutral needed. If it doesn't see a ground, it won't connect, but ground is all that's needed to activate.

Well, getting my 240v line run out to my garage tomorrow. Word of advise, if you need to put in a 22 in deep trench, do it the the day of or day before line installation so that rains don't cause cave ins

Great!! Plug-in or hard wired? If plug-in, which one?

Plug in, with NEMA 14-50 outlet. Nice unit.

Congrats. I'm in the same boat. JuiceBox waiting to be used. I also have a Model 3 and I successfully tested the JuiceBox with it. Works great.

That's great to hear, especially if I go with a Model 3 in the end.

I have NEMA 14-50 ( sans neutral wire) ready, but decide to not buy the JuiceBox Pro 40 yet.
1) In case I not take delivery
2) Can/will use the Audi charging capsule
3) Costco had a sale on the JuiceBox Pro 40 a few weeks ago at $500, which I missed. These things prices should come down over time - finger crossed.

+1

Even if I take delivery of the e-tron, I'm definitely getting a Model 3 in the fall. Amazing vehicle.

I'm in the same boat, I don't think the JuiceBox will do much for my WRX! (Also, #3 is great intel - I will have to keep my eyes open at the local CostCo.)
