Manual Regen vs Auto - what’s your preference?
I prefer the manual regen to the auto setting and I’m wondering what other folks prefer. I only wish there was one more stronger setting to choose. I drove a Model S for four years and I’m completely hooked on one-pedal driving.

I tried the manual a couple of times, but didn't find it worth the hassle. I'm driving in auto, and use the peddles quite extensively

ditto. not a fan of one pedal driving, which causes more accidental regen. Regen is a bad thing ( efficiency-wise) - every 3 kWh you regen, requires at least 10 kWh of consumed energy to propel you with the stored kinetic or potential energy, to regen with !
I drive in auto with predictive/adaptive most of the times - and it does do some unnecessary regen , when the e-tron think I am approaching the car in front to fast. Where my decades of driving experiences are better in predicting that the vehicle in front is moving out of the way, or is accelerating from a standstill.
