Did the sheik buy it to destroy the competition?

My guess is that there are batches of e-trons that enter each step, making it significantly longer than you'd expect it to take at each step. Reduced supply of batteries is probably slowing everything.

I ordered a loaded Manhattan Gray for delivery to Beaverton, Oregon. Here's my timeline, based on email announcements:

1) Reservation date: 09/18/18
2) Lock-in date: 03/08/2019
3) Production start: 04/13/2019
4) Shipment notification: 05/10/2019

And here's what I ordered, if it explains why mine was slower to produce or ship than others:

- Prestige package
- 21" wheels
- Black leather
- Cold weather package
- Towing package
- Rear-side airbags
- Audi Care
- Audi Guard Protection Kit
- Privacy Cargo Cover
- 7-pin Socket for Audi Towing Hitch
- Paint Protection

Abe when was your "Leaving the Factory" date? When do you expect to get your car? Thanks!

juris335, May 10 was the "leaving the factory date" and I don't know what to expect for an ETA other than the email says it could take "a couple months."

My dealer just advised that the car is on the Primrose Ace, due in Houston on June 6th. How long it will take to clear and get the car trucked from Houston to Seattle is anyone's guess.
