Mary Ann's Electric Drive.
I'm from the greater Boston area, got my etron about a month ago from Brookline Audi - am very happy with it. Great car.
While vacationing on Vancouver island and the area, I was checking out an electric charger in the parking lot in Tofino, wondering what DC charge rate they have this far away (DC CCS 100), when this guy pulls up i a blue etron. First thought: Damn, how many of these can there be out there yet? And one is here? Out hops this guy (him on the right, me on the left) https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...20f40c74a.jpeg He's doing the following loop in memory of his wife: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...9c369a4fc.jpeg Details at the site below. https://www.maryannselectricdrive.com/ I just thought damn, that was cool, to be this far from home have a new car I love and see someone else who has taken it to a whole different level. -Ed. |
That's great to see. Those Eco wheels don't look so bad! Enjoy your e-tron when you get back.

Yesterday, Harvey arrived back home in Vancouver, BC. Over 63 days he drove a total of 18,859 miles = average of 300 miles per day. Nice!
