Weird things are happening with my navigation map updates (Belgian version)
In the dealer's car I've driven quite a lot, there were automatic map updates. About once a day, I got a message popping up, saying that the map has been updated.
In my own car, I've had an update that started three times, was increadibly slow (120Kb/sec), downloaded about 70 MB, and then started to install. Only to receive an "installation failed" message after that.
Does your E-Tron update automatically ?

Have you try update using a SD Card ? I have done that with my S3, but not yet on the e-tron. Mine (US portal) says the map is already up to date and is released every 6 month)

The process on Euro site should be similar to US. Login to my.audi.com, click on services, and the map update, then following the instructions to prepare teh package to download.

There is nothing on My Audi, but I think in the E-Tron there are smaller updates that are sent continously (that's what I've seen on the dealer's car, and there is definetly something the car is trying to install, but fails...)

In my e-tron, and I assume in yours as well (both EU cars). I can switch on or off the online map update, there is an option in MMI. Also in myAudi I can see full Europe map and can download it. I had a Q7, and map update was twice a year, usually end of May and end of November.

My e-Tron (US) updated itself successfully today. A message popped up on the upper screen that a map update was available. After selecting on the message, I was able to set the car to update automatically. It ran through the download and install procedure behind the scene. Good to go.

And of course, today, a new version of the maps is available for download (trust me, it wasn't before). I'm downloading it (quite slowly, 9Mb/Sec), let's see what happens.

My Edition One downloaded the Map upgrade automatically yesterday. I did not experience any problems.
