Here on the west coast of USA, I asked my dealer to try the settings-radio on the dealer test car to get the AM to enable, and she indicated that the functionality doesn't appear to exist.

I'm wrong. While it's listed in the settings menu, I couldn't connect to a single AM station. AM is not there.

Ok, I am sorry for being a Putz in a previous post. I was fortunate to be able to pick up our Edition One today. I was able to check out the radio this evening for you regarding your AM radio question. While the e-tron does not have a traditional AM radio, they make it so you can search for AM radio stations. I searched for a local AM news station here in Salt Lake City and it came up when searching. When you select the station, it starts to stream through the data connection that is built into the MMI. I have attached a few pics of the process. If you would like me to search for a specific station, please let me know.

So is this streaming the AM station through the car's internet connection instead of tuning it in via antenna?

It labeled as [WEB] so gotta be streaming over Internet. the hundred dollars question is do we need to subscribe for Audi Connect PRIME, or it comes with the free Connect Care, after the trial period.
