No E-Tron charging at 208 Volts
#11
Did Audi specify if the 208v limitation is with the e-tron itself, or just the charging cable they supply with it?
Just about all the public level 2 charging stations in Massachusetts are 208v so if the limitation is with the car itself, that would be a massive issue.
I'm looking to finalize the purchase of an Edition One when I get back from vacation, but now I need some clarity on this 208v issue. If the issue is just the EVSE Audi supplied, then it can be solved easily.

Level 2 J1772 charging standard specify 208-240V, so I highly doubt that our e-tron ( onboard charger) won't charge at 208V industrial Level Public EVSE. if that is the case, we should've already seen many reports/complaints of this .
The Audi EVSE that bundle with the car, for no good reason, only supports ~238V+. Even the OpenEVSE open-hardwarwe supports all voltages in between ~120 to 240V
You could install a 208V to 240V (50 amp+) transformer e.g. https://catalog.larsonelectronics.co...ck-Transformer ,
but for $400, it is less power loss to just buy a JuiceBox
