No Refreshed S or X Says Musk
What's the play here?

I watched a review of the latest LR Model S review, which has longer range and improvements to the suspension. It was overall very positive, but the main complaints were the overall styling is a bit tired and the interior is not too exciting. The range of 400+ miles is pretty impressive.

The range is impressive, but will that be enough to drive sales? The range was already impressive and sales are slowing to a crawl. One has to question whether Musk wants to be in the full size luxury segment. The level of excitement for the S and X is waning rapidly, even among the true fans. The Model 3 is eating into S sales and the Y will do the same to the X. Maybe no refresh means RIP.
