Phantom Drain observations
Hi current e-tron owners. I'm wondering if anyone is noticing phantom drain overnight (or whatever period of time). Are noticing loss of range if you don't charge overnight? Can you comment on range loss versus time, if any? Much thanks in advance.

I'm observing none. Similar to my Volt, it seems like the HV battery is disconnected when not in use or preheating. I've only gone a 2-day period without driving but I did not see any range reduction. Even though there are benefits to using the bigger battery while parked, like Tesla does, I prefer that it doesn't.

All Teslas have phantom drain from the computer and communications that drops down to lower levels as days go by if you don't check up on it with the app. Sentry mode is an even larger drain (I'm not knocking it though, I would really like the option of something like this in the e-tron but it won't happen for this hardware/software generation). It used to be that Teslas would drain themselves to the point of battery death. I'm assuming S/X/3 models now have a BMS that can protect the pack in that situation. Bjorn Nyland has a bunch of observations of phantom drain (vampire drain) posted on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/user/bjornnyland/videos
