problem setting charging target

I'm trying to set the charging target on my Edition One. When I go into the screen to do this it shows as already set to 50% (which is wrong since it charges to 100%). If I try to change it either using the +/- buttons or dragging to a new value it always snaps back to 50%. Anyone else seeing this and/or ideas to fix it?

Are you setting a target on the screen while you charging? If not, maybe it works when it is charging only (it is just a guess).

I've tried it both while charging and when not charging.

Oh, I should have mentioned. Even though it says the limit is 50% it charges to 100%. Thankfully it's not actually being limited to 50%!

Are you using advanced home settings that override the regular charge target?

I had this happen yesterday after deleting a location charging profile. Lock the car and let it go to sleep (~30 minutes). Then come back and it should let you change it correctly. I think it's a bug.

Nope. No advanced settings turned on.

I tried this and it did not help. There is definitely some kind of bug here!

I think I found a workaround. I went into Advanced Charging Settings and set up our home address as a location. For this location I was able to specify the max charge. When I now go back to the main charging screen the max charge is correct *and* I can now change it to anything I want. Not sure why I was required to have a location and also not sure what will happen when trying to charge at a different location!
