TLDR: It's done, we are home. Went very well.
Mostly a joy. Saw a lot of very pretty country, visited family, chatted with random people at charge stops and elsewhere, and so on. Jazz and a nice dinner in Las Vegas.
Charging horror stories. Worst charge stop was either the first or the last. The first was in pouring rain as was the last. The first had me accidentally turning off the charger by touching the screen with my shoulder while getting stuff out of the car that the wife wanted not once, but twice. So unplug and restart, twice, in heavy rain. The last had two non-working chargers before getting a working one, again in heavy rain. One stop had a charger only delivering 37kW, two other chargers were in use, and the only open charger was not realistic to use with an e-tron as would need to back over a curb and into a shrubbery to get the cord to reach. Also raining so didn't bother to try. Was able to get enough energy into the battery before the wife returned, so was good to go. Audi app wasn't working for a few days, so used up my free charging a few days later than expected. Hotel charging was available on the nights as planned, but not all nights had planned charging. Exactly once someone else had to wait for an available charger, at most 5 minutes. I was done, so left.
Helped a new e-tron driver find a working charger once. Saw some EVs I've never seen before at charging stops.
Driving horror stories. Mostly none. Sure, saw a few crazy BMW/RiceRocket types. Road to Las Vegas was the worst for this, but didn't bother us. Trip was mostly smooth and no hassle. Snow falling on Raton pass, on I-70 near the Eisenhower tunnel and Vail pass, but road was just wet. Rain mostly first day and last day. A few days with strong winds. I charged to extra margin often, as the wife's stop times were often slower than the cars. Lowest charge level was 17%. Spend more time in "Comfort" than "Efficiency", as there were more bumpy sections than I expected.
Slightly over 4000 miles.

ABRP plan for full trip, with a few points obscured and some side trips missing. Dates are wrong as well. Charge plan doesn't match actual charging.

Several charges are composites, such as the first. Was two 1 kWh and one 58 kWh due to operator (me) error..

Great documentation! My quick calculation shows if you had a gas larger 5 seat luxury SUV, you would have paid about $0.23 per mile on average.
Assumptions $5/gal gas, 22 mpg average. Your time in California would have been more like $6/gal ++ gas.
