Oh wow. What were the vitals at that point?

The car limped for a bit, then stopped entirely (had to be winched onto the platform). All low-voltage electrical systems continued to work normally. I had just finished charging to about 90%, 10 mins or so prior to this happening. At that time, the car had been either driving or charging for 10 hours straight.
There was no sudden drop in the indicated range or such.
The staff at the dealership I was towed to have been super nice and helpful, they waited for us well past closing and then scanned the car upon arrival. The logs showed some faults that have a specific TSB and protocol (low voltage to the drive motors, among others) They are supposed to contact Audi Tech Support upon encountering those codes.
... which leaves me with some hope that it’s not a catastrophic hardware issue but rather a known software/sensor freak-out. I did see the tech checking something with a laser thermometer, underneath the front axle. Maybe there’s something known to overheat?

Ugh. Good luck! Fingers crossed that's it's nothing major.

Oh wow. Today will be an adventure for you @Tronification . Can I ask a quick 'logistics' question to you. How did the Audi EV roadside assistance work? Any surprises? I know that it is 'designed' to tow you to the nearest EA charger where the idea is that you would be able to get a high quality, reliable, DC charge. How did it work in this case when you said "hello, my car is dead."
