Oh it's entirely plausible there are 395 made. When you consider all the markets around the world it takes a lot of cars to provide enough for dealer training, auto shows, test drivers, etc there likely have been this many rolled off the assembly line. It takes a number of vehicle to roll off the assembly line to work out production kinks as well and look for quality issues. Likely some of these cars are also being crash tested dispatched to extreme climates (hot and cold) to verify that actually vehicles off the line meet expectations, and then there is fuel economy varificatoin around the world. That takes a lot of cars!

I guess it does, and it is a lot of cars. It's curious when you call something "edition one" though. I wonder what happens to 400 pre-edition one cars!

There's a good number of them driving around Herndon VA right now... I need to see if the USA HQ has a parking deck or if the cars are all just sitting out front; but on the roads I've seen multiple now... If I get out of work early tomorrow i'm 100% driving by the HQ to see...

Does anyone have some good photos of the interior of an Edition One?

Not pictures but this video has good coverage of the exterior and interior of an Edition One. The exterior color and dash trim are not US spec but the rest seems accurate. There are clear images of the black seats with gray stitching and Edition One puddle lamps.
