I noticed the badging on the rear of that edition one. The US ones will just simply say e-tron, correct?

Also, I wondered if the 999 edition ones are 999 in the USA or 999 globally. Anyone know if you can get an edition one like that in Europe? We ordered one for the US.

I asked my guy that exact question & his educated guess was that the 999 was worldwide - but he wasn't 100% sure. He just knew that that there were no more reservations available for Edition Ones.

It is my understanding that there are other "Edition One" type "limited production" etrons available in other markets. I don't believe that the exact Edition One configuration that we expect in the US is available elsewhere. Having said that, I could be wrong....

Evidently the blue one is driving around Herndon, VA now. Just saw it this morning heading towards Audi / VW USA HQ as I was driving to my office (a mile down the road). I may try and stop by their office this morning and see if it's sitting around...

I'm trying to pin down a color. Went to a pair of reveals in the local area in mid December, might help some others, so I'll post pictures of the cars I saw. Got some great hands on with the cars at the sparsely attended second reveal. Was not disappointed. Just sweating out the EPA numbers now. My feeling is that they will fall short.

Figuring the gray is Typhoon, which I've settled on (not daring enough for Siam Beige). Wondering if the brown interior would work. Love the way they've done only the seats and armrests in the brown. Ties in the walnut trim I definitely don't want. Opinions?

To each his/her own on color selection but since you asked for opinions... I don't like the walnut brown trim. That's part of the reason the edition one is appealing to me. I think rather than get the brown seats to match the trim, I'd get some type of a wrap for the trim and pick a better color seats.

Thanks for weighing in.

I can live with the walnut trim. Not my favorite, but not a deal breaker. Actually more bothered by the lack of a black headliner option.

My current spec is Typhoon/Black and I'll probably be sticking with that. But the brown seats looked nice on the white e-tron. I like the way they didn't spread the color onto the lower dash and door panels as with the pearl beige.
