Wheel specs?

I have been unable to locate the specs on the 20" OEM e-tron 55 quattro wheels shown on the configurator. I am interested in specs such as offset, bolt pattern, width, etc. so that I can look for alternative aftermarket wheels. Thank you.

I have been trying to find that same info. I suspect the specs will be the same as the Q7 & the Q8. I like the wheels on the SQ8 (below) and was looking at getting them until I found out they are $1400 per wheel, not including tires. So I will def be going aftermarket.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but I am also looking at going with aftermarket wheels from eBay for my e-tron. I want to keep the 20" Goodyear H-rated tires with the foam as they are nice and quiet, so I am looking at a 255/50R20 size. My question has to do with offset. The stock e-tron wheels have an offset of 38. I found a wheel design I like that is 32 offset. Will this work, or is this off by too much? I found the exact same style wheel from another seller that specifically lists this wheel for the e-tron, and that wheel is listed as a 37 offset, but it is also $100 more expensive. So should I just pay the extra $100 and get the wheel with the 37 offset? Or would the 32 work? Here is a pict of the wheel. I think it would look real nice on my Navarra Blue e-tron.

These show up on eBay all the time. etron is very heavy make sure you pick a wheel that can support the weight.

You mean, like this?

LOL You like the Frankentron? I backed it out of my garage to get a photo when I was installing my winter wheels. I have the Alutec 19" wheel in that style as my winter setup.

I actually thought of just putting on a Michelin all-season tire on that 19" wheel when winter passes, because I really don't need snow tires where I live since snow doesn't last too long and roads are cleared well. I like the look of the 19" Alutec wheels a lot more than the stock 20" Audi wheels, but some years we get more snow, so for now I might still want a winter tire set.

The 20" Goodyear Eagle Sports that came with the e-tron are dead silent and a very good tire and I'd like to put those back on. Used tires just don't have much value, but these Goodyears sell for $1244 new for four, so I'd rather just keep the tires I have and get full use out of them. I'm just ready for a change from the stock e-tron Premium model wheel. I thought that stock wheel would grow on me, but it hasn't. The look of that wheel is the one thing I don't like about the car.

I had asked about the load rating of the tire above because I was aware of the 1900 minimum load rating, and I just heard back from the seller. Load rating is -- get this -- 1554 lbs. And they list this as a wheel specifically for the e-tron. So much for eBay. Guess I'll pass on this style. I'll move on to my second choice, which is the aftermarket of the wheel pictured in post #2 above, but I have a hunch that might not meet the load rating either as I'm not sensing a lot of quality in these aftermarket wheels.

If anyone has any experience with these aftermarket type wheels, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

And if anyone has any info on the setback, if a 32 will work, or how far I can get away from a 38, I would appreciate the feedback. In trying to educate myself on the topic. It seems a smaller size (32 vs 38) will just move the wheel away from the center of the car and out toward the fender slightly more, which shouldn't be a problem I would guess, because it is moving farther away from the suspension. I just don't want the tire sticking out too much.

Yep, aftermarket on eBay is not the way to go. The aftermarket wheels styled like the Audi wheels in post #2 are only rated for 1600 lbs. Looks like I'm going to keep my OEM wheels for now.

If anyone has any knowledge on the offset question, or have put on a wheel with a different offset, I would appreciate hearing that and possibly even seeing photos. I was looking at a set of Q7 20x9 wheels that have a 29 offset, so that would bring the wheels out even further toward the fender.

Not quite accurate:

There is ONE Hartmann wheel (RS7 replica) which in 20 " is rated higher and that's what many of us are using for the e-tron.

I'm not sure if the above is the correct offset, but the load rating is 1,984 lbs (900kg)

I didn't mean to imply that NO aftermarket wheels have the appropriate load rating for the e-tron. After all, I have a 19" Alutec wheel that had a 2050 pound load rating. I meant the ones on eBay that have no manufacturer listed, but list the manufacturer as "aftermarket" and are made in China, these generic wheels which are all modeled after OEM Audi wheels probably won't have the appropriate load rating. They also say they are for the A3 and other smaller Audi sedans, so the load rating will support those smaller ICE vehicles, but just not a BEV as heavy as the e-tron Quattro 55. They physical FIT the e-tron, since they have the same 5x112 bolt pattern, but should not be sold to be used with the e-tron due to the load rating below spec.

Off topic a little but....A local shop has a set of 2019 e-tron 20" wheels (5 spoke) with the original Goodyear Eagles, 9/32 or less remaining. No scuffs and they appear excellent. I prefer the Eagles and figure I can run them this winter to save my 21s, maybe later put winter tires on them.

I would not normally do this, but 1. it's local 2. I do a lot of winter sports and 3. I'd like to save my super-fly 21s from winter's ravages. How much would you pay for the set?
