Your edition one manufacturer date

What is your Edition One manufacture date?

Mine shows 0119
delivery was 5/23/19
was fresh off transport truck

Seems odd that it was produced in January 2019 and in USA off truck in May 2019? Does anyone know why such a long delay from manufacture date to delivery?

what does yours say? Label is inside drivers door frame.

My Edition 1 label reads 0219, I took delivery on May 2nd. FYI My dealership is only 2 hours from Davisville, RI port - 1st stop in US.

There were probably dozen of export, custom, logistical, governmental reasons before Audi AG can ship a brand new model to US soil.
