Real Battery Miles - Drive It Like You Own It (even in Lease)

So I am the guy that says I will never entertain an BEV until you can get 500miles of range doing 80mph....

We had a Christmas party at the house and my buddy has 23 GT. I have owned a lot of Audi's and the brand/build/etc will always be close to my heart...

That being said...for those of you that own a 24 Etron GT or Q8 (Q8 if I want to be more practical)...assuming I am heavy on the pedal...and then when driving to my beach place 175miles away doing 80-85mph with the R6 watching out for cops....what range would I get most likely?

Yes I am aware of the downside of speed, etc on batteries I just want to apply my actual driving patterns to these cars and not have to change my ways to fit into the BEV world, hence my current attitude in my first line above...

I have a 2022 E-tron Chronos edition and I think I drop to ~2mi/kwh at 80-85 mph. Since the Q8 has a 106 kwh battery pack, I think you should be able to make it as long as you charge it to 100% before you leave and charge it when you arrive.

My experience

2023 Etron GT gets 270 range in summer and 250 range at 36 degrees F at stated velocity.

I also have a 2023 my range is closer to 260 (100% SoC) in the summer and it was fairly accurate.
Now I'm at 215-225 in freezing or subfreezing on the GOM, but the reality is it drops at more than a 1:1 relationship when driving so I'd estimate maybe only getting about 150-180 real miles in sub-freezing temps.
(Unless you always park in a heated garage and pre-condition before driving anywhere.)

I am not shy on the throttle either. 85+ is where I like to be and I am addicted to the accelerations so again...not shy.
If I drove like a granny (not gonna happen) I'm sure it could do better but, like you, I want to drive it like my old S6 not like a Prius, Leaf, or Bolt.

I'd estimate closer to 1.6-2 mi/kWh at 85 in freezing temps. So if it is cold where you live, either pray it gets warmer or lower your speed and it will improve.
Below 56 mph the spoiler stays down too and I'm convinced that is a valid drag point, traction/stability vs. efficiency. But the spoiler IMO is likely not necessary until 85+ mph and more curves than just straight dry roads.

So to answer the question "could you do 175 mile trip in the GT?" Summer, sure. Cold winter, maybe, but I'd be careful and have a backup plan.

150 miles max running at 80-90 mph
