Map Update Installing (for weeks)
Anyone else have an issue with the auto update for the maps taking weeks? For the past three weeks there has been an update icon in the upper left. When I click on it is says Map Auto Update Installing, but this has been going on for over three weeks. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how to stop and restart the download?

Have you tried just opening the notifications and clicking on the update text? On mine I’ve had the icon persist until I’ve acknowledged that I did, in fact, notice the map was updated (by clicking on it and/or swiping to delete - can’t recall which).

I don't get the map updates, but for I don't know how long I always get a text when I start up that says something like update detected, installing blah blah blah, then minutes later it will say something like update software not compatible, update failed. It does this EVERY start up, and that stupid update icon stays persistently on the MMI.

As an update. I contacted Audi support and their recommendation is to factory reset. Once I complete the operation I will let you if I fix it. I am assuming that I will have to reprogram my garage doors, address, favorites, etc. so I will plan a couple of hours.
