Problems with CCS Charging

Default Problems with CCS Charging

I’ve owned by 55 Etron for about 3 months.

Its a lovely car but I've found myself taking more
long journeys. I must say I find the charging network in the UK so infuriating...

my last three attempts to use CCS charging have failed. Saying it’s been unable to connect to the car. The light goes yellow and says no power supply.

Is anyone else finding problems?

A new other frustrations;
1. My range has never said more than 191 miles since leaving the dealership when it said 260. Fault?
2. My OLED wing-mirror is very dark on the drivers side. Virtually unable to see the image. It’s as if the brightness hasn’t adjusted.

I've noticed that the drivers side mirror is a bit more dark than the passenger's, but not to the extend that it is unusable (far from it). So that sounds like an issue with your virtual mirror.

I've only had my Etron since Friday but I've had an intermittent problem with the driver side display for the virtual mirror too. it occaisionally goes dark too and is then also unresponsive to touch to change mirror orientation, etc. I was going to take it to the dealer after work today but typically it started working again! Does your touch still work even with the dark display?

Otherwise i'm loving the Etron

The driver side rear view display dimming problem is know . I have had this issue intermittently since I got my car 6 weeks back. Passed it on to Audi UK, who have informed the dealer that they are aware of the issue. A software update is being issued on 7th October to correct this. In the meantime, the only solution given is to park the car and turn it off for 15 minutes to let the MMI rest itself.

I would still report it, as cumulative pressure would help resolve such issues sooner. Not sure if the car needs to go to the dealer for the update or whether it will be through WiFi.
By the way, I have been made aware through another forum that it is illegal to drive a car without a functioning driver side rear view mirror, which is what this fault amounts to.
