Audi doesn't appear to think software problems warrant a buy back. I suspect that will never change unless the definition of the law changes. Unfortunately agile software development has tanked the quality of software, because the next patch is always on the horizon. One of the biggest problems with Audi is the over complication of the many modules running many different versions of software. Without cumulative updates to bring every single car to a unified version, Audi will be chasing problems and never really solving them. End rant

That’s what I don’t understand. We all have essentially the same software, yet you’re having many more issues than most. I would think there’s nothing different in the software loaded in your car. Hardware issues would make more sense to me. Granted I’ve got a MY 21, but I have had virtually no issues other than the 5 minute charging cycle after the charge is complete. But even that is easily circumvented for most of us with the ‘unlock after charging’ fix discovered by a member here.

We do not have the same software. With Audi’s release schedule, numerous modules and patching policy, there are many iterations. Too many to count. We’re almost all unique.

My 2019 FE had similar issues. Dealership had it for over 3 months trying to figure it out, never did. That issue, along with a long list of the other common issue (e.g., tail light assembly, water leak from sunroof, relentless and unending fault warnings, etc.), Audi of America bought it back. No driving a 2021 model and, knock wood, no issues after 3 months.

Here is my latest. I haven't driven above 60 mph for over 100 miles, and my air conditioning is out, so take that into consideration. This is a 2021 Premium model with stock 20" wheels.

I'm anxious to see what I will get at 75mph interstate speeds. Had a road trip planned a couple weekends ago, but we switched to another vehicle for the trip when the air in my e-tron went out. Have a 500 mile road trip planned for the end of the month ... even if the AC isn't fixed by then I shouldn't need it anyway.

I’m happy with the range of my e-tron I’ve had since July 2019. (It came over on the next boat after Larry’s) Last week I drove it down here to the beach in Delaware where half of the trip was around 75 mph and the other have 55mph or slower and got 2.9 mi/kWh. I just charged it up for the trip home tomorrow and it shows 230 mi range.

Audi dealer confirmed several bad cells. Could be a week or so to replace. Interestingly no errors or warnings, just very low range.

I'm starting to wonder if this has anything to do with the failing LG battery failures in the Bolts.

Covered by warranty at least, right?

What is the battery and chassis warranty on this thing anyway? I don't recall

Did they offer you a loaner at least?
