Stainless steel pedal covers?
I would like to put stainless steel pedals caps. Does Audi make them for our E-Trons, or will other models fit our cars?
Thanks! |

Unfortunately Audi has surprisingly opted not to do an aluminum pedal set on the S models and has no accessory set of aluminum pedal covers for the e-tron. The accelerator and dead pedal are unique to the e-tron so not sure if anything from other models would fit without testing. The brake pedal is used on the D5 models so that could offer an aluminum pedal cover from the S8 for the e-tron. Wouldn't be surprised if a set of just the accelerator and brake couldn't come from a D5 model, but no guarantee on the accelerator fitment and no confirmed dead pedal, maybe from a Q model, maybe.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate you getting back!
Maybe someone will make some in the future... |
I suspect the A8, S8 aluminum pedals will work without the dead pedal. If anyone wants to test let me know and can work that out.

If that user confirms the Q5 or Q7 dead pedal worked well then full sets for the e-tron can be made up...

Looks & feels nice :) |
The S8 brake pedal is a confirmed fitment by looking at the part number of the e-tron stock plastic brake pedal cover. Are you saying the accelerator pedal from an S8 RHD model fits on the LHD e-tron models? That would be very odd.

All I can say is that's the pedals I ordered and the pedals that fit... I assume that I got a matching set sent to me.
|
Alex do you have the part number the s8 pedal? Are you selling those?
thanks

Dead Pedal
It seems that the RHD S8 brake and accelerator pedals fit/work unmodified for the LHD e-tron.
Is there yet a solution for the dead pedal, that does not require modifications? I miss the metal pedals from my S5 Sportback. Otherwise, super happy with my e-tron Sportback. |
I popped up a set of alu pedals just for the accelerator and brake pedals for now as no one has confirmed a dead pedal fitment on the e-tron yet.
Pedal Set | e-tron Aluminum <-Clink Link for More Information It appears the S8 D4 RHD post-facelift pedal covers work, which is odd, but whatever works! I'd be curious if one of the similar sized SUV dead pedals would work, but nothing crosses with the standard black plastic dead pedal in e-tron to any other model. The dead pedal comes fitted to the carpet even unlike most other models. Cheers, |
The dead pedal seems different in the ‘22, but I’m not sure

Doesn't appear to be any split in the years for the dead pedal. It does still appear to be a unique part to the e-tron. Might be worth ordering a plastic one as they are super cheap to compare to dead pedals that are in with kits here to see if anything is a direct fit or easily modifiable to work.

Bumping this old thread - did anyone discover a dead pedal that will fit?

looks nice. where/how does it bolt on? also, do the brake and acc pedals go over the existing rubber pads or do you swap them out. not sure if "bolt on" is a real pain but interested in making the upgrade if it's fairly quick and easy :)

The gas pedal has no cover from the factory so you just slip the new pedal cover over the accelerator. The brake pedal you remove the plastic pedal cover and slip on the new cover. Note that installing these takes a little manipulation of the pedal covers to get on. Some customers heat the pedal covers up in a bit of hot water to make the rubber a bit more pliable before installing, but nothing hard to install.
The dead pedal wants the side A-pillar trim be removed, but you can also get around this if you don't mind flexing the pillar trim a bit when yanking the old dead pedal out of place. The old black plastic dead pedal just pulls from with your hands or trim tools. Then you push the new dead pedal into place and pop the lower A-pillar trim back into place if you removed it, pop the hood release hand back on. Again nothing terribly hard. Cheers, |
