Gorgeous! I was a little sad about the small license plate too. BMW at Munich apparently still provides the long ones. Must be an Ingolstadt thing.

Real nice. Same color we got in Ingostadt a few months ago but our car is smaller (A-3) and non-quattro.
How do you like the quattro?

Thanks all. Yeah, I wasn't sure about the color until I saw it in person. The quattro makes it feel like it's running on rails even at 200 kmph+. very solid feel indeed. i broke it in gently for the first 1000 kms and am now enjoying some rapid stints on the autobahns around hamburg.

i live in georgia, so the front plate is not needed. however, my dealer told me that the audi system wasn't letting him place the order without the front plate holder since it's required in europe. that little plate looks kinda ridiculous. i hope i can get rid of it once the car is back in the US. the front end would look so much cleaner without it.
