I'm a bit late w/ my post. We got back back a couple of weeks ago after a 3 week trip. The whole delivery experience was fantastic! Audi really treats you well and makes you feel like a VIP.
We flew on Sat and made it Munich early Sun. We opted to stay at the Kempinski Airport hotel that night compliments of Audi. The hotel is pretty nice and modern but most importantly it was very convenient. After a long flight it was nice to walk out of the baggage claim and right to the hotel. No need to worry about transportation to hotel.

sorry for the multiple posts...but forgot to upload pics first and didn't realize i couldn't go back to edit the original post.
anyways, here are a few pics of the Kempinski and the area around the airport.
Kempinski lobby.
very convenient that there was a market right next to the trains. made it easy to grab supplies.
Monday morning was the big day. Our ride to Ingolstadt. we both felt like we were in the Transporter b/c the driver really did remind us of Jason Statham.
We arrived at the Delivery Ctr around 9:30 and saw that we were scheduled for a 10am pickup.
So what to do...hmmm, hit the cafe of course! Audi is very generous in giving you an all day pass to the cafe...and we made sure to take advantage of it. The food was very good with great deserts and coffees.
After a quick snack and some coffee, we walked back and spied a first glimpse of the car.
Going over all cars functions.
1st drive out to the parking lot.
Audi museum
Maybe...when its my turn

Congrats, Woodchuck! Pretty car and it looks like the weather in Ingolstadt was great on your delivery day also. Post more pics about your subsequent driving adventures, please! :-)
