When will the order guide for S4 be released to dealers?

Dealer told me in April that S4 orders for 2019 should be end of May or early June as in years past.
They have releases for several other models and can not come up with a reason, especially since few changes to model are anticipated.
I am trying to time for European Delivery for end of September.

Last year was early because it was the first year of the car. This year the focus is on their other new car launches - A6, A7, A8 and Q8. Order guide is out for A6, A7, A8, and 19 Q7, nothing else. Even these do not have prices yet though, just the equipment, options, color. This is further compounded by the fact that Audi is starting to shorten their model cycle between updates/new car launches.

You can order an 18 S4, Summer of Audi/Tech car. Beyond that, no orders will be done just yet. End of September becomes very difficult regardless due to the factory holiday in August, and a dealer does not coordinate ED, there is a separate department for Audi USA that handles those things with the dealer and client. Sometimes they are able to do accomodations to date requests, and the team is great to work with. Hopefully we will see an order guide in July at some point with prices. I just did an S4 order last week, and didn't see any point to waiting for the 19, so I simply ordered an 18 SOA/Tech car, and spec'd it as desired.

Ha, same here for European road trip vacation but my hopes for this fall are fading. I contacted the EDP folks and although they offer no guarantee they say it is looking like earliest deliveries for European pickup are more like mid October. I'm planning a 3-week road trip with mountain driving through Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland so I'm drawing the line at end of September as a mid October pickup will extend my trip into November. They say they will let me reschedule to spring if I order as soon as ordering opens up and I don't like my delivery date. (Note: the exchange I had with EDP was about the S5 SB in case that makes a difference)

Thanks for the information. Can you share more about Summer of Audi tech car, is that a European delivery possibility?

Thanks for sharing that with me, obviously not what I was hoping to hear. I have late September through mid October as my window of opportunity as I will be off from work and will have to return by end of October. Maybe I will have some luck when the order is placed once order guide is released.
