Once you e-mail they'll tell you what ship it's on. Then watch MarineTraffic.com every 20 minutes like I do. Here.

A note to all of you awaiting ED cars. Keep the plastic tag that came with your car keys! It's needed to activate the MMI and stuff.

I pulled mine out of the trash just in time, one day later and it would have been gone!

I wish they'd told me that... mine's unfortunately in a landfill in Germany somewhere now

In all the excitement of getting the car, I don't remember if the Audi rep in Germany mentioned anything about the tag either.

You might want to give a heads-up to your FL sales rep that the tag isn't available. Hopefully he'll be able to do the ground work and get the necessary information before your car arrives.

My delivery specialist at Neckarsulm only told me the tag has the key code, a 7 digit code which are the last 7 digits of the VIN. I think the new 2018 Audis have additional codes on the tag for Connect Plus features, which my 2017 A7 does not have.

Enjoy! it's an awesome day, and a very exciting lead-up. Do you have an itinerary planned after the pickup?

If it's just the last seven VIN digits then that would be a big relief - I've asked my local dealer to verify too.
Thanks!

I think your Allroad has Connect Plus features and your tag may have additional codes on it. Definitely check with your dealer.
