timing question for european delivery
Hi, How did you plan out the timing for your European trip? My current lease turn-in date is November 15, 2018. I'm considering European Delivery for my next car. Oktoberfest in Munich has been on my list of things to do. It would be fantastic if I could do both of these things In a single trip. How feasible would this be?

First thing is to check with your Audi dealer about 6 months prior to your lease turn in date and find out if they offer an early turn in offer.
If they allow you to turn it in early which might yield some equity for you, then ask for a Euro delivery and plan on going there early and then waiting for the return at your dealer.
Depending on how you time it, you may have 2 cars (overlap) for a short period of time or have no cars while waiting for your Euro delivery car to arrive.
I am in the same boat - mine expires in November but I need to make plans on the trip to pick up in Germany - can't tell yet if the manufacturer will allow an early turn in (BMW calls it Pull Ahead program). So I don't know if I am going in spring or late summer....

If your model is being made in the month you would want to visit and you check in early enough with Audi dealer to do ED you should be okay.
Keep in mind it can take 10 - 13 weeks for your car to make it back to you after dropping it off in Europe, so you may want the lease to overlap for a while.
