My credit union loaned me $ for my ED S6...no problem
And this was the second ED car I have financed through them. They knew full well that this was an ED car; all they cared about was the VIN and proof of insurance. Only downside is that, until the car is delivered state-side, you are making monthly payments (and paying insurance) on a car you do not yet have. In case it matters, this was the Justice Department's federal credit union.
