I've had the chance to preview the ad, it's pretty darn funny. There are a lot of hidden elements, so keep a close eye. =)

The Green Police will get you in the end! Audi is tying in the A3's crowning as the Green Car of the Year with this commercial.

I too thought they were funny - for about 10 seconds. Then I realized the extended idea could extend to books, videos, firearms, soda pop, any area of choice we take for granted as expressions of personal freedom of choice. Then it dawned on me how unfortunate it was for a German company to have a commercial series of such fascist implications. Ever read about what happened to Mayor Calvo's dogs (Google is your friend - the Prince George Police are not)?

The A3 TDI is a phenomenal product. The commercials are downright scary. Audi, what were you thinking? Please throw the Gruen Polizei on the thrash heap and find another way to advertise the A3 TDI. Thanks!

Ya the commercial kind of went overboard but the car looks and sounds too good to be true. By the way, I just joined this site and I think it's awesome to find a forum for Audi and motor enthusiasts in general. Are there any other sites I should check out?
