Hey all, I received a used hitch, but no hardware.... and no instructions. How does one go about installing a hitch on these cars? ie, rear bumper removal, how to, things to look out for, etc.

Mine installed without removing the bumper.I removed it from my S6 and put it on the S4 in 1 hour, using simple hand tools.

How? Every install I read about says you have to remove the bumper and reinstalling the bumper is a PITA.

look underneath your rear bumper and match up the mounting points.

How do you remove the rear towing hook? Looks welded. It's definitely in the way, at least, I think it is.

You bought a custom made hitch, I doubt it is like anyone else's hitch.
