I have to make some repair decisions for my '95 S6 Avant, and I am hoping to get some advice.

Overview:
- Mostly clean exterior & no rust
- Interior still in great condition
- 130k miles
- Will not be garage kept (as of 1yr ago)

Repairs needed per Chicago dealership diagnostic / inspection:
- Oil Pressure Switch
- Both Front Struts
- CV axle
- Front sway bushings
- Other service-type stuff (i.e. brakes)

I was quoted ~$6-7k all in. What would you all do? Thanks in advance for any responses / dialogue on this.

Whoa, that sounds outrageous, and more than the car is worth.

If you mean an actual Audi dealership, I'd find an indy shop or two and get another quote. It will likely be at least half that. The techs at an Audi dealership aren't even trained for your car anymore. Not that they can't but its overkill.

eta - if you can do some basic wrenching and have some tools, I'd think you can do some of that work for a fraction of the cost. I can give you a link to online help if you want to try some do-it-yourself. ie: you may not be able to do the CV axle, but you can probably replace the oil pressure switch yourself.
