Hello all:

Quick question for those of you that know these cars inside and out and whether or not these particular parts are interchangeable...

I have a 93 S4 and the inner trunk lights with the back up lights in the middle of them also with the trunk lock mechanism in the middle of it....(not sure what these lights are called)

I found someone parting out a 1996 A6 Avant locally and it looks at least in appearance on the computer screen that the lenses would swap into my S4.

Would this work? Mine are all cracked and I'd like to replace them....

If anyone knows if these lenses are the same and interchangeable between the two cars, I'd greatly appreciate the heads up.

The PNs for those "inners" are 4A0945223B for the left side and 4A0945224B for the right. They are the same on all C4 100s, UrS4s, A6s and UrS6s. Same for sedans and avants in N.America

Prove it to yourself by finding those PNs in this diagram listing and then clicking on the (i) icon. It will give you a list of the vehicles that that part is used on. (Plenty useful website so you might want to explore it a bit and then bookmark it):
